Coop in dark souls has always allowed yout coop an entire area up until the boss is defeated if you wanted to.

Oh... that's good. I've only had one co-op experience in DS1 so far, where I summoned someone who put a sign down right before a boss.
-
The player base is low on console version of DS1. It can be hard to find cooperative help, the map is one big maze. DS3 doesn't have this issue, is a lot more linear, you will see summon sign's at that first bonfire in an area. I find DS3 is Miyazaki's easiest souls game, is a good game for a newcomer to start.
-
Well, that's like half the battle. I guess I could summon someone and send them a message asking to lead me where to go if I was really stuck.
-
Yes that's possible, although the game isn't that difficult. Work on levelling up HP, stamina, weapon early game and you will be fine.
-
You may say it's not difficult but... people have tried to rationalize DS1's difficulty but I've pretty much quit the game. Maybe the same would be for DS3, I don't know.
-
It's not as difficult as DS1, you can even summon three players in DS3 if you're really stuck.
-
That would surely be helpful

My bro dropped DS1 after a few hours, even he has cleared DS3.

-
Nope at bell gargoyles. Blightown is a pain, the most difficult area in DS1. Nothing like that in DS3.
-
Well I stopped playing right away when I got Toxic, because I think it's stupid that they have 2 status effects that are almost the same thing and can barely tell the difference....
-
I should also add on that dark souls 3 also brought in a password system which makes matchmaking with friends infinitely easier
