Explain to me the lore of the Cabal
I have been wondering about the Cabal lore quite a bit but am just not the greatest at understanding the cards. Anyone who could explain any aspect of their lore is awesome!

They have battle groups organized, called legions, into ranks. Primus are the battle group leaders.(Generals) Valus are campaign leads. (Lieutenants) Val seem to fill a role less than Valus but more than Bracus. (???) Bracus are mission leads. (Sergeants) Known legions include: Sand Eaters (General Infantry) Dust Giants (Heavy Infantry) Blind Legion (Black Ops) Siege Dancers (Tech/Research) Sky Burners (Phobos Division/Tactical Strike Unit) Ice Reapers (Psion Flayers, general purpose unknown) The Cabal firmly control Mars and Phobos. Their motivations are widely accepted as being purely conquerers as that is the extent of our observation. The Cabal seem to be master at subjugation and incorporation. The psions are believed to be a separate subjugated race. The Cabal have shown great interest in the Martian based Vex structures as well as the Martian locations linked to the Human warminds, specifically the Martian based Charlemagne. Interesting to note, a core Cabal belief is to never retreat. Yet, when faced with the taken on Phobos they did just that...

We currently don't know the rulers name or their location but we do know it's a massive empire. The first thing to not is their strategy, they use Phalanx's' the same that Alexander the Great used in his massive empire. That alone is something to note as strategic. They also copy Roman names and ranks. So most of it all mystery. We can look further into Rome history to have some guesses. They also are known to hate everyone. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. They came from an empire that conquers planets for their own gain. They have no clear allegiance with the darkness like the hive or the vex, but they aren't friendly to us. They'll kill us on sight. To us, their the same as the rest. The enemy.
