Update 2.2.0 has resolved the following issues previously impacting Iron Banner:
• Lord Saladin's inventory has been updated with items at Ranks 3-5, some with re-rolled perks
• Rank package rewards have been adjusted:
-Increased Rank 3 package Artifact to 320 Light
-Increased Rank 5 package Ghost to 320 Light
• Rank 5 packages can now reward items from the current event
• Iron Banner Armor and Weapons can now be earned at Rank 0 at the end-of-activity
• Removed Legendary Engrams from the possible end-of-activity rewards list, creating a greater chance to receive Iron Banner specific items
• "Iron Domination" daily bounty now requires completing a match with a personal score of 1500 instead of winning a match with 2500
• "Iron Versatility" bounty now only requires 7 Heavy Weapon kills to complete
• Fixed an issue where players below Rank 5 could roll a reward they were ineligible for, resulting in no reward being given
• Fixed an issue where the Iron Banner ship was missing a part of its frame[/quote]

Bungie, I just hit lvl 5 and was going to be on my way to the tower to get my reward for hitting lvl 5 and my ISP decides to preform maintenance and it's probably going to last till iron banner is over. Can you help me?

1 ReplyI'm been level 5 now in iron banner for the last twenty games. And still haven't had any iron banner loot drop this is just getting silly. Sort it out bungie....

1 ReplyI've been playing Destiny for about 6 months now and something I've noticed is that my drop rates seem to be much much lower than that of my friends. when i started playing the game and i got my first exotic many people told me, "don't worry too much about infusing things/dismantling things because you will get many more." and that seemed to be the unanimous opinion. this has never been the case. I've gotten a few characters to decent light level over the course of my time in game but it has always taken longer for me to get there. i don't know if I'm just that unlucky or if it's something else but for example, this iron banner I've received about 4 items over the course of many games and from all 3 rank 5 packages that i could actually use. just playing a few games with my girlfriend today she got 3 ghosts that were all 330+light and i have gotten nothing even close to that over the course of this whole week. everyone keeps telling me how good their drops are this iron banner and the fact that i can't even remotely agree with them has just made the game frustrating and actively ruins my game time. i just want decent drops more than once every 30+ games.

3 RepliesDear BNGHelp5, just a few things regarding Iron Banner. what all are we supposed to get when completing rank 5? i know we are supposed to get a weapon and a ghost but aren't we also supposed to get armor as well? i just completed rank 5 for this week and i got a 320 iron shell (dismantled) and a 332 bretomart's stand machine gun but i didn't get any armor from saladin this week. this isn't the only issue i have had with iron banner either. every time i have done iron banner since the beginning of the year i haven't gotten the armor rewards after completing rank 5. either it is randomly given to me after iron banner is gone or i see it at the postmaster after a few days even though i have room in my inventory. im just trying to figure out what is going on cause this is now getting a little irritating.

I came across this last night. My rep remained at 383 rank 1. After wins. No rep went to dead orbit or crucible. I couldn't rank up past ps4 powerlunch

I have been doing some research for you in order to provide you the best help possible and I am happy to come back to you with the following solutions: 1) Server lag issue can be easily solved by buying a dedicated server, many makers exists but you can find really competitive server platform on really good price at https://www.servergate.ie/dedicated-servers/?gclid=CLr_kczqrswCFWSJ2wodlSkLWw This would help you having stable connections in Iron Banana and Osiris matches. 2) In order to improve player experience in PvP and play on a fair ground you can use a filter for 'Redbarring' cheaters. AS described in https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/40wvcl/ubisoft_permabans_cheaters_on_first_offense/ 3) Starting event already on previous lvl 5. Already got to rank 5 but had an issue where in the rewards i was given the auto rifle Haakon's Hatchet (335) was excited to get one but after when it went to the match up screen it didn't deliver it to me or to the mail box. Is there something/anything i can do to get it or do i just need to keep playing the iron banner till i am awarded another Haakons hatchet?

Just a question I went rank 5 with 3 of my characters and got 2 cool weapons with rank 5 ... Got one lame rocket launcher I already had as well why does the game matrix not see what I already had and reward me with something I didn't have ? And after hitting rank 5 what is the point of playing IB when you will not be rewarded with anything other than what everyone else gets at rank 1. I think there should be special bounties for rank 5 players that drop rank 5 rewards.

Now if only you could make the connection stable enough to not get booted for no reason or explanation. Saying you left the fireteam with out even an error code is unacceptable bungie.

1 ReplyIssues I have noticed while playing Iron Banner. Time to find a match - Taking 5 minutes to find a match is ridiculous. One sided matches - Wheres the competition. You either win by a land slide or get obliterated. Matches in progress - Anytime you get dropped into a match in progress your team is down by 2k or more. Outside of these minor complaints the loot has been great. Just wish you would focus more on taking account for what gear we already have. It is frustrating to get gear you already have from the Rank 5 Packages.

If we've learnt anything crom this iron banner it is: The spawns are -blam!-ing terrible The matchmaking is -blam!-ing terrible The map design is -blam!-ing terrible The lag is still -blam!-ing terrible Snipers are still gamebreaking in pvp And incase you needed more reinforcement of this fact, bungie are a shadow of their former selves. They have made undoubtetly one of the worst stories of all time, one of the most overrated games of all time, one of the worst pvp's of all time aswell as one of the worst 'triple A' games in recent history. i sincerely hope that destiny 2 crashes and burns so you can watch as your years of hard work are left as nothing more than the steaming pile of shit you at bungie are.

I ranked to characters to 5 (one being a 332 Titan) and got a useless 320 shell and junk. So have many others that I have spoken to. Just like the sudden level cap at 330 on vanguard, crucible, and faction reward packages. What has been changed and what about all of us who did the grind getting ripped off? I'm not even going to bother finishing my third character because of the amount of disgust. By the way the Division placed the full suite of anti lag switch detection in place and reinstituted more harsh penalties for people who can't win without cheating. You cant go into banner, trials, or crucible without watching visibly cheating lag switchers stopping dead in their tracks while you try to damage them only to have them suddenly melee or shotgun gun you the second you have to reload. When are you planning on fixing that problem? I've been gaming since Atari and on the PC since the first Wolfenstien and I know what lag switching looks like. I've stopped reporting them to you and started reporting them to xbox enforcement. If you can't play without cheating then go get a board game. Not to count the issues that lag switchers create in game. Yes there are people with bad connections and that's easy to spot. These are my two biggest concerns with Banner this round. It was so bad last banner I didn't even finish my first character because I was so frustrated I had to stay away from the game for a while. I thought about deleting it at one point I'm so disgusted with how little is being done about this issue and all the bugs in the game.

No matter how you started, when money begin to come you always become greedy. Bungie has become what hated and hates the most: Microsoft V2. All the bugs and glitches, all the problems in network protocol and in gameplay are swept under the carpet and what do they give you? Shaders, dances, sparrows. Bungie refuses to develop a companion app for Windows Mobile, refuses to make the website touch friendly and responsive in order to hold you from using it from a Windows Mobile device. Bungie makes Play Station exclusive weapons, armors and quest. Xbox players are less important than Play Station ones despite the fact that we paid the same money. And money are more important than people in this moment for Bungie.

don't know if this is right but done the iron banner hard bounty 3 times with all characters and got 25 legendary marks , 1 strange coin and a blue boots engram each , so kill streak 10/10 , 5/5 double kills , top score , rank 4 iron banner , which is so stressful that i almost smashed my controller up trying to achieve numerours times , too finally thinking i've done it with all 3 now , so i can chill out and think to myself i've done it , to then cashing them in and receiving a nice big fat thank you for completing that very hard bounty 3 times have a big kick in the plumbs and a big -blam!- you very much unxius , which has just made me feel numb , don't worry i will recover , it was just a kick in the face that i wasn't expecting , like going on a blind date hopeing to meet a nice hot woman and a geezer turns up .

U guys call getting items from current iron banner a fix i call it bull crap .i spent all that time for 334 boots when i got 2 pairs of 335 in game why is it so hard to give out weapons that u r not selling this mnth or at least armor not sold that mnth . Like i said 3 mnths 3 characters 8 pairs of boots how sctewed up is that? Just another reason why people are leaving destiny for different games thank you and have a wonderful day!!!
