How To Fight A Sunsinger(Another True Story)

"Woo! Yeah! Another win for the warlock!" The space magic wielding guardian yelled as her and her comrades entered the tower. The hunter and BraveCole the Titan stumbled behind her, their armor still smoldering with smoke. They both started feeling very weak, and fell on their knees, reducing themselves to a crawl. "So.. Many.. Firebolts.. *cough cough*" The hunter choked out. "I need.. I need wah.. Water.." BraveCole said, weakly raising his arm. The warlock, confused, looked behind her at the pitiful defeated Guardians. "Guys, don't be babies. It wasn't that bad.. Hey, hunter, remember when you and I got into that gunfight? Tense, right?" The hunter coughed before responding. "Yeah, it was a nice challenging test of aim and skill." The warlock nodded. "Precisely! Like it should be." "Until you jumped and threw a firebolt." "Ugh. Whatever, you're just angry. And you, Brave, remember when you went all hammer time? That was fun, you almost had me!" The warlock laughed. BraveCole didn't return her joyous laughter. "Almost? I threw all of my hammers at you. And they all missed, when I was sure they got you." "Well, yeah, but.." "I managed to kill you with the last one. But you self ressurected. Where I was then killed with firebolts." "Sigh. Maybe you guys just need to.." The warlock bent down and looked both of them in the eyes as she whispered. "...Git gud.." The hunters eyes went wide with rage. "You FLOOFING DRESS WEARING CHEAT! I'LL SHOW YOU HOW TO GIT GUD! ARGGHHH!!" The hunter leaped up and went in for a tackle, before BraveCole stepped in and grabbed him from behind, lifting him up. "L-Let me go! I swear I'm gonna shove this knife so far up her God damn a-!" "Wooah, there!" BraveCole said, interrupting him. "Take it easy, pal. Chill." The warlock giggled. "Actually, maybe you should let him go. I have a craving for fries, I could use the extra salt.." The hunters struggles grew more frequent, as BraveCole retained him with relative ease. "You! You and your stupid fire bolts! Gah!" "Yeah, whatever. I'll be seeing you boys later, mkay? Bye!" The warlock waved, before materializing into her ship, where it went into orbit. When she left, BraveCole let go of the angry hunter. "Ugh.. She.. Her.. Stupid.. Firebolts.. Thinks she's better.. Better than me.." The hunter panted. "BraveCole. We have to do something." BraveCole sighed. "Yeah. I know." "Really?" "Those firebolts are getting out of hand. All my armor smells like ash from the constant burning.." "Do you have any idea how to stop her?" "I think so. Follow me." ----------------------------------------------------------------- "Wow! I don't think I've ever seen a Titan Codex before!" The hunter said, amazed. "You're not supposed to. But it's our only hope to regulate the crucible. It lies in the ancient book." BraveCole replied, flipping through the pages. "What's in it?" "The Titan Codices have records of every single set of morals, duties, and mindsets that a true hero should have. Loyalty, honor, protecting the weak. It also tells of heroes before and after the golden age. A group of ones that were trained to fight the very problem we face now." "Who were they?" BraveCole flipped page after page, and when he found them, he pointed. "There. They were called.. Firefighters." "Firefighters? What, do they punch fires?" "No. These were brave heroes who saved others from the harmfulness of fires. They wore fire resistant armor, wielded heavy, metallic axes, and used personal cannons that shot high, pressurized water." "Woah.. If only they were here. Sunsingers wouldn't stand a chance in the crucible! How do we find this.. 'Firefighter?'" "We don't. They're all gone, they vanished, with the collapse. But that doesn't mean we can't become one ourselves." BraveCole said, grinning. "What..?" "Here in the tower, there's two suits of firefighter gear. Used for viewing and research purposes. I say we take those.. And challenge that Warlock once more. Whaddya say, old pal?" The Titan said, holding out his hand. "I'm in." The hunter replied, shaking it. ----------------------------------------------------------------- "Where are they? They told me they'd be here.." The Warlock said to herself, looking around. "Hey! Over here!" The hunter called out. The warlock looked up to see Brave and the hunter, clad in an unknown suit of armor. "What.. Are you guys wearing? Is that pre Golden age tech? You seriously don't mean to fight me in that do you?" Brave lifted the visor to speak. "Oh, but we do." He said, putting it back down. "Hm. Alright then. Let's see how you handle THIS!" The warlock said, chunking a firebolt Grenade, where it landed right in between the hunter and BraveCole. It exploded, engulfing them in a blanket of flames. The warlock smiled, but soon gasped as the smoke cleared, and the two stood there. Completely unfazed. "What.. B-But how?" "I think we handled that quite well." BraveCole said. "Yep, didn't feel a thing!" The hunter laughed, tapping his new firefighter suit. "I'll show you! I'll show both of you!" The warlock then yelled, shrouding herself in solar light as she charged them. "You wanna do the honors?" Brave asked. "It'd be my pleasure." The hunter then grinned, taking out the mighty water hose, as he pulled the lever. The warlock didn't have time to react as she was bombarded with a relentless wave of h20, completely extinguishing her Sunsinger power. She laid on the ground, coughing, drenched in defeat. "Was.. *cough* that water? I was beaten by water!?" BraveCole and the hunter looked at each other, then back at the warlock. "Looks like you're.." BraveCole started. "..All washed up." The hunter finished, putting on shades. "YEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"
