The Year 1 Weapons that got into Year 2 (Shadow Price, LDR, Badger CCL, etc.), I wonder why these weapons even got the Year 2 Treatment, especially with guns I didn't hear much about but still own like The Longbow Synthesis and the Two to the Morgue, with weapons I never heard anything about like the Lord High Fixer and the Zombie Apocalypse. Exactly what made these weapons special to make Bungie decide to bring them forward to Year 2?

Shadow price was too of the line and could effectively compete against the suros regime slaughterfest. Lord high fixed (vender) was imo the original handsniper 3rd eye Send it (pre nerf) Rangefinder (pre nerf) More range than first curse could ever compete against. Zombie apocalypse, was a top tier and difficult weapon to attain and looked really cool. It's a mid range machine gun. The swarm was the heavy hitting vanguard machine gun that was hard to get back in the vanguard and crucible mark days. These weapons above were from vanilla destiny when the game first launched and were some of the best named and designed weapons bungie had created. As for ldr 5001? Idk. It's before the reforge days. It's just a past time.

They were originally good before bungie nerfed everything. Buffed everything then nerfed everything again and then again. Now all the weapons feel kinda meh. Nothing special about these year 1 weapons besides nostalgia maybe.

my ldr with ambush and final round is what got me into sniping

Two to the morgue is a beast. All those weapons were highly popular legendary weapons.

Shadow Price: Was a beast in Crucible LDR: God roll on vanguard vendor The rest I don't know.
