You shouldn't be reviving in front of a sniper anyway. You SHOULD be securing the revive first, and then picking someone up, the shield is just there to help you survive a stray grenade or something, not to tank a sniper bullet or a shotgun blast

  • Just wondering if the shield is basically negligible at this point, I understand not to revive someone in a sniper lane, but was wondering if the shield actually provides enough damage resistance to be of any use

  • The shield is actually unchanged except in the fact that it now takes extra precision damage, and you even have MORE invincibility frames than ever. So yes, the shield is actually very useful and potentially better than ever, unless you're against highly skilled players

  • I was not aware of that, I thought they reduced the shield in order to allow more snipers the ability to rez snipe

  • Nope, just added a precision damage modifier and increased the amount of invincibility frames... [i]Again[/i]...
