when destiny first came out the experience level was the sum total of our effort and time put into the game. if someone had a big 20 on there i.d. then everyone knew they were a top level player. then the system switched to light/armor value being the most important part of the game. but we are still shown that big number, which has become useless. it's not indicative of our effort put into the game it's not a gateway to activities and it's not how we select other guardians to play with. so why is it still presented as though it is? i guess what im saying is can experience lvl be removed from the game? or at least switch around the i.d. so light lvl is the big number we see?
just a thought iv been having, what do you guys think?

This is the result of our younger "everyone needs a trophy" generation. Basically players complained because they were forever 29 and casuals complained they couldn't get get to max light do bungie's solution was to create a system where everyone can get to max level (40) but the serious players still had the light level to shoot for (320). Everyone would be happy and no one would complain because this is what we asked for.
