If people were receiving these drops, and then suddenly Bungie pulled them, yes, I'd be concerned.
But using the word "unethical", when they're not dropping for anyone? Are you for real?... I can see you care THAT much, but maybe you should just move on and attempt to accept this loss.
My condolences...

They were shown in Bungie's own promotional material. They were listed in the armory on Bungie's own website for more than 6 months. They were a carrot-on-a-stick to keep people playing, waiting for the day they'd become available. If you think that a company misleading its customers isn't unethical, I don't think that you know what the word means. I simply want Bungie to acknowledge the situation. That's all.

You're talking about something that no one has ever been given. Calling it unethical when all it is, is digital gaming content. Aren't there better things to complain about? I'm kind of beside myself laughing at how absurd this post is. But hey, if that's where you want to focus your energy on, demanding answers from Bungie on that, best of luck to you!

Well written... no actual counter-point to original post... feigned ignorance of actual topic... calm, cheerful demeanor... You are a masterful troll, sir. Well played. You had me going.

Well like with any business, if it's not officially announced, they're free to do with as they please. And if that means the decision to not give it to players irritates someone, guess what? It doesn't matter.

Were we talking strictly about the TTK trailer, I'd agree with that. But those items were listed in the armory, not on a 3rd party website but on Bungie's own, up until the very day that players expected them to release. So, either; A) Bungie intentionally manipulated the expectations of the playerbase, or B) They forgot that the exotic armor that they showed off in the trailer was in the armory, proving them to be far more inept than even their most spiteful haters could have guessed. Their silence on the matter (as I'm not the only one questioning the propriety of the situation) is not doing their public image any favors.
