Space marines are basically just better versions of iron man. :P
-
Edited by Edcub One: 4/14/2016 3:37:21 AMNo they are ground troops who consider bolters to be good weapons.
-
Edited by Woupsea: 4/14/2016 3:38:38 AMBolters are one of the lowest weapons a space marine can wield, and even those would destroyer iron man's standard armor.
-
His standard armor can withstand a black hole. http://imgur.com/a/h7hq3
-
Blackhole's aren't impact weapons.
-
True, they are trillions of times more deadly.
True, they are trillions of times more deadly.
-
They aren't in the same category, iron man would still get curb stomped.
-
No, if you make armor that can withstand a black hole you are not being effected by anything not on a similar level.
-
Nope. That just means that the material wasn't effected by the distortion of a black hole, not that it has any resistance to conventional firepower.
-
......if a objects atomic structure can withstand tens of billions of g's without breaking down, do you really believe bullets with nearly infinitely less force are going to do anything?
-
It's unclear as to how black holes really work, if bullets worked by breaking down the molecular structure of armor then yeah that would be impressive. But that's not really applicable.
-
...... Black holes work by exerting a extreme gravitational pull on objects, bullets work by using their kinetic energy to push through the matter of an object. If a object can withstand holding its form even when placed in a environment where it's weight is increased several billion times over it should be fine against bullets.
-
I just realized that the black hole situation isn't even possible lol, his body encased in the armor would still be subject to the effects of a black hole. Damn marvel.
-
The iron man can negate the effects of gravity. (Read the top left image) http://i12.tinypic.com/2up4os1.jpg
-
That's not really a part of his suit though, and even if it was then it still wouldn't account for his organic body within a black hole. All of this being irrelevant because gravity =\= bullets.
-
He installed it into his armor. Gravity breaks down matters the same way bullets do, by tearing apart the Chemical bonds between atoms.
-
He installed it into his armor.
Still would t explain his body within the armor lol.
-
Edited by Edcub One: 4/14/2016 4:52:01 AMIt creates a field that expands around his armor, which includes his body.
-
I don't know why I'm arguing about this.
-
You were wondering how Tony didn't get turned into tungsten by the gravity.
-
-
Iron man would lose to a single space marine, lol.
