  • I hope you are talking about a different Labyrinth than I am thinking...

  • Yes, Im talking about the awesomely cheesy, dreamy, nostalgic, magical, Jim Henson and Frank Oz one with David Bowie as the Goblin King, and I love it and don't care what anyone says lol Pan's Labyrinth is s different story for me. I liked the visuals, the sets, the creativity, the creature design, but I freakin hate that stupid thing with a passion. It sucked balls imo. What a juvenile, depressing, horrible load of crap that was. I watched it once then gave it away to this chick friend of mine, because I knew I would never want to watch it again. I tend to like movies that make me feel good and ones that I can watch a bunch of times. I hate movies that depress the hell out of me - it just isn't what I'd call entertaining.

That was that for me. Just something about that godawful movie made me sad. Maybe it was simply the fact that I wasted 2 hours of my life on it

  • Somehow the whole goddamn thing is depressing. After watching it is spent a good long time wondering what I was doing with my life

  • Hmph see I felt that way with Pan's Labyrinth instead. It was all about shock value, gritty realism, and complete and utter depression. For me, Labyrinth was more fun and dreamy than anything else. Another magical, fantasy type movie that I cannot stand is Bridge to Terabithia. That movie can go straight to Hell along with Pan's Labyrinth for all I'm concerned.

Labyrinth, Legend, and the Neverending Story are some solid choices. Actually. All of those are. Ever see The Dark Crystal?
