  • I mean im not new but youre showing year one weapons along with uncommons and rares, same for armor For weapons is it about the TYPE of certain weapon classes (fast AR, slow AR, fast Pulse, slow pulse) ? For armor is it the perks they can have?

  • For Weapons normally the groups for each weapon type are generally set by ROF (Low, Mid, High) and Impact (Low, Mid, High). Of course Rockets and Fusion Rifles are a little different with Blast Radius/Velocity (for Rockets) and Charge Rate/Impact (for Fusion Rifles). Every time Bungie comes out with a hot-fix or game update the archetype that dominates varies slightly, shifting the whole play style. So you are correct. For Armor you generally want to look for perks that pertain to Orbs Start Shield Re-gen or Health Re-gen. Mostly armor should be used to your play style and strong-suit. If you like Sunsingers then use armor that buffs armor when using a solar subclass. If anything I can point you in the right direction for boot, grab yourself Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner Boots because they come with bonus perks that boost agility different from standard gear. Armor=Perks that benefit you.
