This is just 4 sniper shots that show why I'm avg at crucible (1.4 kd) instead of great.. Aim Assist doesn't do for me what it does for everyone else.. Montage after Montage I see headshots proc when the player clearly misses, by a foot, and in real time..
I slowed these down to show you what I think Aim Assist doesn't do for me.
The sad truth? I bet if I was using a shortgaze scope these all count as headahots.
It's just frustrating seeing people get free headshots for the same thing that either counts as a body shot for me or a complete miss. I know I'm not alone..
And I hate everyone who gets headshots given to them. And I hate statue scopers. And crouch heros.

3 RepliesRofl another sheep that doesn't know how AA works. HINT: It's not the AA bro. You need more practice.

Aim assist isn't the reason people get headshots when it looks like the reticle isn't directly on the player's head. Aim assist has 0 effect on hit boxes

1.4 is not average, it is in top 15 percentile. Sorry to rain on your parade.

Edited by d3adonarrLvaL: 4/5/2016 1:43:33 AMWell tbh your using a ambush scope, what this means is there is no added aim assist. In fact it actually minus aim assist.

Don't go off the bullet trail. Bungie has said a few times now that the bullet trail really isn't all that accurate and can get messed up with quick scopes and stuff

1 ReplyPlanet destiny have a good video on aim assist on snipers. I suggest you watch it. Tldr: It only effect scope stickyness. Not hitboxes. Hth

Eh. Tbh those didn't look like headshots. If that was me they would not have counted either

Bad kids just need an excuse for getting their ass kicked

Dude I am with you on this! Happens so much. I'm just staring screaming that was a headshot because all I can see is their head behind that cover! Yet still it procs as a body shot.
