A different combat system isn't a con just because it's different .-.

Successful franchises don't completely change their core mechanics. If they were going to drastically change the gameplay, they should've implemented a legacy option with turn based for old skool fans.

Edited by Asharru: 4/5/2016 1:58:45 AMIt is a risky move with entirely changing the combat, but I guess a separate combat option would be nice too. But I still like the new combat. And it's still possible for a franchise to change some things about it and still be successful. It's just that some people, such as you, do not like change, simply because it's different.

They could've changed other aspects, but not the core mechanics. Game plays like Kingdom Hearts. I don't buy an FF game for real time combat.

Okay, well that's fine. I can understand you now, knowing that real time combat isn't your gig.

I enjoy real time combat games, but nothing comes close to a from software game, the souls series. I have always bought FF games in the past for their turn based combat. An FF game with real time combat has lost its identity...

Ohhhh. Okay, I understand. You just want an FF game to have its original turn-based combat. Okay.
