I loved the movie personally but if I had to take one thing out it would be those dream sequences. They don't anything really to the main plot and were a bit jarring at times.

The desert one (Knightmare) was amazing. Plus, if you didn't catch it, when he was on the cliff looking at the city, the stretch of land right before the city was the Omega symbol. You know who likes to use the Omega symbol? Darkseid
-
Yea I know that. The whole earth was transformed into apokalips, there were even the parademons. This is probably a set up for darkseid later but the other dream sequences were a little off putting and even the desert one was bleh.
-
That was the only dream sequence and it was essential for the movie.

There was the one he went to his parents graves and a bat or something came out of it and the one in the beginning when the bats lifted him off the ground
-
Oh right. That was whatever. The desert one was incredibly important though.

Possibly we don't know what they have planned. That could be a possible future for all we know or something that'll never happen
-
Listened to a pod with Synder. It's that vision of a "possible" future combined with what he thinks is the death of Clark that motivates Bruce to assemble the JL. No dream sequence = no JL
-
Ok fair enough but the other dreams need to go.
