I hear some people complaining about lack of content... I hear others swearing them off saying that Destiny is content-rich as it is. What do you think? Is an update like the "Major April Update" enough being released six months after The Taken King and probably six months before the next big time DLC?
Edit: I guess my question is more of, are the content in the updates enough and are the updates themselves enough or should there be more? Obviously Destiny has a lot of content but as someone said, it's old.

I think that this update is everything the Bungie community has been asking for.

Edited by YahyaTV: 4/1/2016 2:44:07 PMLots of content? No way... All original content can be completed in a single day... And I've heard of people getting from Level 1 to Level 40 in a single session, completing all pve activities. The content does have some replayability element (or as we like to call it... The Grind). The balance of replayability to good loot drops has been very disproportionate. This has been the case since Vanilla (forever 29, search for Gjally, Fatebringer and Timepiece) and continues to this day where people are still searching for the elusive 320 ghost shell or the final exotic that has not been sold by Xur (Y1 Gjallahorn, Y2 Twilight Garrison) however this is done deliberately by Bungie to artificially extend the grind.

Yes it does. This is due to a lot of the content being irrelevant. The April update would be a lot better if VoG and Crota were included.

Yes, if they wanted to make everything from yr1 irrelevant to progression then they should have announced a 2nd season pass with TTK that followed the same timeline as the first. Making us wait this long for an "update" when a lot of people would have paid a decent expansion a couple of months ago is a big loss on their part and really makes me wonder how long they were originally planning on supporting this game.

1 ReplyIt really dosent lack content. For an average gamer it is way too much. Im a bang out myself and i dont even have everything. (Nearly have everything) 😂

not anymore

2 RepliesCompared to any other FPS, no. Compared to an MMO or major RPG, kinda.

I think people get replay value confused with content. This game has high replay value, but it's lacking in satisfying content.
-
It has lots of content but its irrelavant. I wish they could add stuff without taking away from the old activities.

Missions are repetitive; shoot this, scan this, get this, and so on.

It's has much content, it's just "old".

9 RepliesDestiny doesn't lack content....it lacks incentive.

Pre update ... end game was basically HM raid and pvp. Post update they might have made nightfall and strikes relevant again (if they fixed the drops) I still think patrol needs a major overhaul seeing as it's the only open world location (so much potential there)

2 RepliesThere is a lot of content from the past, but no incentive to dive into it.
