So after being at work I did not have a chance to watch the stream. Please tell me if I'm wrong (This is going from forum posts I've read but with all the arguing it got confusing).
- You can buy gear that has no perks
- when you infuse said gear it will take the perks of the armor you already have.
- so basically it's just a cosmetic application with no real benefit because you already have the perks already.
- Technically your not paying to win because you already have the abilities just another look you want.
- Some people see this as a slippery slope
- I see it as pretty creative but can see people's concerns

4 RepliesSo the way it's gonna work you can buy the stirring treasure with silver. Makes it look like a pay to win, but you won't need a key for the treasure and you can play the new PoE as much as you like and get the treasure at the end every time. You still think this is a pay to win? A treasure will cost 1k silver and its $5 for 500 silver. So either play PoE for the treasure for free or pay $10 for 1 single treasure.

Edited by SolarCerberuS: 3/31/2016 2:29:57 AMI see it as transmog that you infuse into nothing more so its cosmetic imo if it had overpowered abilities/stats tied to the armor then it would be pay to win

1 ReplyIt's creative and I love it.

What they should do is implement all year 1 raid gear and have a huge list of items you can grab and infuse. It'd be cool to rock all vault of glass gear at 335.

This is a great answer to the transmogification requests from everyone

you can get 3 boxes a week that can give you the armor the armor is randomized i has 3 defense and must be infused its not maxed gear i dont think its pay to win plus some of the armor sucks ass imo maybe 1 or 2 items i just want the emote

You get the armor from the boxes. You get 3 boxes a week and can pay 200 Silver for more. So no. It's not pay-to anything.

Edited by XDVarenkor: 3/31/2016 12:45:23 AMIt's cosmetic gear at 3 light which you can then infuse. Not a whiff of pay-to-win here. Also, you get free packages every week so there's no need to pay at all if you are patient and/or don't want to.
