Similarly to your example, I will see things in my dreams. However, it usually takes at least a few days to experience the scene again. Even weirder is that the setting and people and such are the same, but I don't do the same actions. Say, in the 'dream' I walk to the kitchen. In real life, though, I may just stay sitting on the couch.
I had a dream I would get laid off of work and my boss told me can't keep anymore and he was telling me this infront of six people who I never met or seen before so I woke up and went to work the next day and one of the six were there and o thought it was freaky so I wrote down the descriptions and had a friend sketch out for me while I talked to her about on the phone and I took them to see if it would unfold like that which it did so yeah I got to see my own future
