Destiny is dead because it has become pointless to play. There is no reason to play it, nothing to be excited about. Most people who still play the game already have maxed out characters of each class, and now don't need to play it. It you replay Destiny for the story, then how can you enjoy Destiny's story? It's trash. If you still play it for the gunplay, then that's understandable, but that's not enough to keep you from getting bored. If you're playing for the RPG elements, then just get Fallout 4 already! If you're playing for the MMO part of the game, then Irma not an MMO, and there are lots of better MMO's out there. If you are paying because your friends still play destiny, then ask if they like destiny, or say you don't like destiny anymore, they may just say "Yah, it's pretty boring now, there's nothing more to do." If you play because you want to be the best, no one will care, no one is going to glorify you for you achievements in destiny, no one except for the people who still play destiny everyday like you, the people who are missing out on so many wonderful opportunities and games! If you think you are done with Destiny, I can recommend a few games: BO3 Fallout 4 Halo 5 Star Wars Battlefront The Division (I know it's not out yet) Borderlands Etc. These are games that have generally been better than destiny in the eyes of many players, but also games that many people who still play destiny can enjoy. I know it may be hard to move on, but one day, that's what you'll have to do. I understand Destiny may be your favorite game, but I know you can find amazing things beyond Destiny, even games you may like more. Go ahead and write a hateful reply to my post, I'll probably reply back, but it won't change the fact that Destiny is dying. I'm sorry for your loss Bungie.
