Wait until you hit the endgame, you'd be wishing you were in the atheon days compared to what this game has for endgame. Literally it's nothing but just running around the DZ with max level players killing the same re-named enemies for phoenix credits, on top of that the rogue system is just totally useless and might as well not be there. Someone died on a manhunt and lost 95,000 credits and lots of ranks. If he lived it he would've gotten 1,700 credits...

Funny thing is that you think the DZ meant to be fair, the devs themselves said the DZ isn't fair and the way they wanted it. The rogue system is also fine the way it is. It is high risk high reward, more agents you kill while you are been hunted the more dz credits you get and can lose
-
Edited by RingersCheckmate: 3/15/2016 7:19:19 PMHigh risk NO REWARD what the -blam!- are you talking about? Have you been on a manhunt? Have you died on a manhunt? If you go on a manhunt and manage to live you get 1,700 credits. That's NOTHING. not enough to even buy a decent blueprint from the vendors. You DIE on a manhunt (Much more likely) you lose 95,000 credits and on top of that a good chunk of DZ ranks. Saying that's fine the way it is is denial, and you'll be letting the developers think something broken is being done right and before you know it it'll be destiny all over again.

I'm really enjoying The Division but I do agree that the end game needs some tweaking.
-
I've never meant to say the entirety of the division is bad. Just that the endgame is going to need some serious tweaking to live up to everyones hype.
-
Edited by EvoMike219: 3/14/2016 10:00:37 PMI totally agree. The Rogue system needs reworked. Going rogue is supposed to be a high risk/ high reward, as of right now it's just not worth it, which kinda ruins the intensity of the Dark zone. I also think that more events should be taking place, maybe like some random supply drops in the Dark Zone that have decent loot and phoenix credits to add some tension. Something other than farming for named enemies, would be nice . Level 30 dark zone chest desperately need to be reworked. 90% of the time I open one it's blue items that would be useless to anyone that's DZ rank 30. The Division has tons of potential and I'm sure they have some stuff planned so we will just have to wait and see.
-
You could probably make those supply drops like feasts where all players try to go for them (they contain at least one piece of high end gear) And it's a fight to see who gets it. It has potential and I hope people don't do what we did destiny and say it was all balanced and OK and let the game suffer like destiny is now.
-
Edited by EvoMike219: 3/14/2016 10:10:08 PMThat's what I was thinking. Players should be notified when a supply drop is inbound and have it marked on their map, and only have the loot container carry enough supplies in it for like 4 people. Unfortunately I can't really speak on Destiny. All of my friends quit right before the Taken King, so I wasn't really able to play much of Destiny's year 2 end game.

Do you keep just regurgitating this same comment on every single division post?
-
Edited by xgo waltons: 3/15/2016 2:37:41 PMYou should see @Jyceless post where he rips off some guys article about The Division from forbes.
-
Yeah I seen that, then he acts like he doesn't know yahoo or what Forbes is. He can't come up with an opinion of his own about a game so he has to rip it from a magazine.
-
I try. I mean we are on bungie forums I mean lethalviper over in #Destiny is literally everywhere. I don't know what makes me so special.

Edited by Cinders-Shadow: 3/14/2016 3:28:09 PMDefinetly agree you should be able to to get more for surgiving rogue hunts. Like give me 5-10 phoenix credits if I survive a 5 minute man hunt. And it should give dark zone rank as well.
-
You are a division agent who is killing other division agents. They deserve no mercy.
-
So Spartans killing Spartans is fine in halo, my main point is it's a half assed PVP in that case. Besides I'm kinda with Aaron keener here...
-
You can't compare team deathmatch to open world PvPvE. They are both different and some what similar in their ranking system. If you lose in a match on Halo 3 you lose xp just like in DZ when you die. Their ranking system is similar but their concept is much different. Plus if you did the story mode you understand more of what the darkzone is and how there Rogue agents in the storyline.
-
Edited by RingersCheckmate: 3/14/2016 5:17:20 PMWhen I said I'm with Arron keener I was referencing the rogue agent in the story. But there should be some reward for going rogue and more reason to other then just because I like Aaron keener. Like maybe a less of a penalty for dying and more of a reward for doing it successfully
-
Yeah that makes sense, The punishment is just a wee bit too harsh but still needed. The reward should be the way it is or lower because you are killing other agents so it makes sense.
-
Edited by RingersCheckmate: 3/14/2016 5:21:06 PMYou should have an incentive for going rogue, not just to be an asshole and because you like rogue backstory. And 100,000 credits on top of lots of DZ ranks isn't just a wee bit too much.
-
The incentive is getting the loot they are carrying, is it that hard to understand?
-
Edited by RingersCheckmate: 3/14/2016 9:43:44 PMCan you carry high-end blueprints and gear better then what vendors are selling? That's a half assed design for an incentive.
-
If there was an incentive then it would pure chaos and it would actually draw people away. No one wants to die to a rogue over and over again. For example, this one guu was way overpowered to the point where we couldn't scratch his health. Evac sites would be unplayable because people will spam sticky bombs then run away. I get what you are saying but I like the system they have. Going rogue is high risk and gives a good reward but the risk is losing more than you earn which can make people think twice or more strategic. Like should I kill this guy? Does he have friends? Is anyone else around me like AI other players. What is the best way to approach this group? Is it worth risking all my gear I picked up and all that XP/funds?
-
Going rogue gives almost NO reward and is probably the biggest risk you can take in the game. There's no strategy in thinking "I could kill this group of guys, but I'm not going to since all I'm going to get is something less then 2k credits and I'm losing 95k if I make one mistake." You don't need to only gain 2k credits and a risk of losing 95k to think strategically. Going rogue is a big risk, you're assuming the people you're going up against (Usually the entire server) all have less gear then you and you're likely going to fight the same person twice since they can respawn at a nearby safehouse.
-
Good ! -blam!- rogues
-
Sounds insane. To me. It seems like they can balance it out.
