People like you take the fun out of competition, why not let people learn their mistakes own their own?

Taking the fun out of competition would be me sitting on a 9-0 card all weekend with my other sherpas so full squad and denying people at 8-0 all night. Instead we are here helping people and teaching them how to get better as we play. We don\t tell you to sit in the back and be our medic we get you to get in there and help out so we can see what you are doing and offer any advice. We also love questions as we play, as that is the best part of it. I will also leave you with this. What is fair about my friends being able to play with me even if they aren't the best they still get to go to the lighthouse every weekend with me yet some random guy whos friends are of equal or less skill never gets to go because he doesn't know anyone good? Finally believe it or not a lot of us know this IS JUST A VIDEO GAME AND DOESN'T MATTER AT ALL IN REAL LIFE, so if we can spread a little joy but helping some people out we will.

  • I don't care what you do, but to say you will give advice just makes you look pretentious. Why not let people gain knowledge on their own. Iunno do you all good bucko

  • It's not like they're offering unsolicited and/or unwanted advice. They give advice to people who go to them looking for advice to improve. Not everyone has the self awareness to learn, or even a concept of what they're doing wrong, and just butting your head against a wall, especially as the games get harder with people leaving to play other games, can be frustrating to a lot of people. They offer a service by trying to share the knowledge they've gained and things they've learned from their community of friends and they're trying to grow the community by teaching and making the community on the whole better. Not everyone has a network of friends that are good enough and/or capable of teaching/coaching. People that do this type of thing want to see other players improve and raise the competitive bar of the game, if you go into the streams you'll see people say bragging about how they finally broke through their plateau and got to the lighthouse on their own and DrLupo and Zonntohn will congratulate them. If they were in here charging for 'carries' and not coaching/teaching for free I might see your claim as having some validity, instead you're actually the one coming off as pretentious telling them what to do with their free time. I dunno, but helping people improve and get better seems like it's adding a lot of fun to the competition.

  • Not Pretentious I just know what i am doing at this point in the game lol After over 400 runs to the lighthouse at this and an 85% win rate for me 90% for lupo it is safe to say we know what we are doing.
