How do we pay to keep the lights on at bungie?
TTK was released monthsa ago, that money can logically be said to have been spent on utilities,maintenance,etc... a long time ago.
Once so much time passes after a content releases all costs for a game come out of the dev/pub pocket.Especially if they are workimg on new content at the sametime.
The only 2 ways in which a person could say "I am paying to keep Bungie's lights on"
1)buys silver regularly
2)sends money to Bungie's electric company every month.

Are you actually saying that we aren't what funds this game? Are you retarded? Where does the money we spend on this game go then? We didn't pay to make it. But we've paid to cover the original production costs and at this point, future content.

If you think what we as gamers have spent covers the costs they have for utilities, employee wages, server maintenance/hardware replacement, and the multitude of other expenses you are sadly mistaken and should try running a business before passing judgement on one.

If you think Bungie actually maintains their equipment, as per the state of the game...

The money obviously is used to keep operations going at Bungie. That would include overhead and content. And I'm sure a shitload of other crap none of us think about. But make no mistake, it's the money we spend that they're after. So try not to be too married to your argument here. It's ludicrous at best to say that out money doesn't fund content. I mean, they've stated numerous times that micro transactions fund the events.
