I'm afraid rose colored glasses have tinted your memory of the weekly updates.sure there were some good ones, but plenty of them were no different than now.

I'm glad that this has been brought to people's attention.

What about the Mail Sack? Why was that ever taken out? And didn't they say it would be brought back?
-
I don't recall. But judging by this massive overreaction, the mail sack I remember wouldn't be well received now.

Edited by EmoSceneRawrXD: 3/16/2016 10:56:35 PMI guess I have to agree. Either they would cherry-pick questions from people who are complete blind fanboys of Destiny, or have to go with the ridiculous, over-demanding ones that bury everything else. They also would probably give vague answers on serious issues.

Now the ninjas ride into battle on the forums.
Don't stop. These forums deserve a little slappin around.
Web page unavailable =/ thought you might have imbedded an old update there, but alas no. Oh well, sage advice anyhoo.

I understand that but we never had a content drought like this before.
-
From about 2011-2013, we experienced a period I like to call the Dark Times. Reach's hype was dying down, and Microsoft was taking over the Halo franchise at 343i. Bungie was working on a new franchise, but we knew nothing about it. We didn't even know what it was called. Two years of silence. Now, that was a drought.
-
Haha that was! To be honest though, I was I was 17-19 at the time and was a hell of a lot more active. I wasn't as affected back then. I only game a few times a week. Not the case anymore

I learned as a 3 year old if you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all bungie is opening itself up for attack with there dribble updates. They didn't have to go and make a big deal about renaming the update and bringing attention to it when all it ever says is nothing they did it to themselves

This.

I second this. It's always been drought filled updates until about 3-4 weeks before an actual release.
