It's hard to attempt to do a job where you are constantly criticized by the overly vocal masses and rarely get feedback from the quiet majority.
This forum is a slog at times with negativity(truly, people need to find joys in things or find the things they enjoy; not microanalyse everything to find something to be offended about.
It just irks me when people cannot find joy in a hobby that has been a part of my life since controllers had one button and a joystick, and you had to imagine a set of pixels are what they are meant to represent.
Lighten up kids.

He knew that job before he took it, same as a garbage man or a long distance freight driver. He's community manager, its his responsibility that the forum is so negative. And with that comment he's made it even more negative.

But it isn't his responsibility to ensure that forums aren't toxic, that responsibility rests with us as members of the community, and moderators. Deej is supposed to serve as an in between for us and those that make the game.

His title is community manager. Now I may not be some sort of word type rocket scientist but it seems pretty clear to me that that would imply that he is meant to manage the community... And all he's managed to do is piss off a very significant portion of it. His whole job is to try and make sure the community doesn't become toxic.

See. This guy gets it
