That spoiler is an add-on quote that someone else added in this thread and wasn't included in the original comment, and likely wasn't there when DeeJ originally commented.
And god forbid DeeJ try to throw a cheeky comment out there once in a while.
More like "god forbid DeeJ try to throw out actual information once in a while".
Do you not think, what with all the animosity towards Bungie at the moment, this is the WORST possible moment to get cheeky?
I'm certain DeeJ is giving out the information he's allowed to give from his bosses. I'm not sure if you've ever worked in an NDA environment before, or for a company that wants to keep information close-hold, but if you did, you'd understand. I think you're giving him waaay too much credit for the amount of control he has over company information and what he can share with the public.
I personally think that the animosity towards Bungie is overblown, and that most of the people who play the game aren't spending their time either on Bungie.net or on /r/DTG making demands to DeeJ. I'd be willing to wager that most of the player base is indifferent or have moved on to other games and will come back once there's some new stuff. Quite frankly, I'm just happy that DeeJ is responding how we'd all respond. Plus, we're getting a weekly update, we know there's a big Spring update, and we know there's an expansion in the Fall. And even if that stuff doesn't come by some twist of fate, who cares? There are plenty of other games to play.
Relax, play, and have fun.
