What Makes A Thread Successful?

This is all subjective, but I was curious. Like the title say's, I was wondering what makes a thread a success? I really just want to focus on Likes vs number of replies. As an example here are two (Top quality) threads. One has a relatively low number of likes and a fairly high amount of replies . The other is the opposite. Example uno Example b I guess the real question is, What is more important to the lifespan of a thread, The Likes or the replies.
