Considering you can download the same 50 GB game as many times as you want, there are associated costs such as bandwidth for digital games.

You pay for internet to download the games. Steam pays for their internet so they can send the games to your device. Steam takes a chunk of sales just like Microsoft and Sony from developers. No reason to charge less on PC.

The thing is games like bo2 are still $60 and they are over 3 years old and shouldn't be $60.

Try old Pokemon games. Physical copies of Diamond and Pearl are still full price.
