As with pretty much any fantasy weapon, this combination of perks would be overpowered. Full auto, higher rate of fire than any weapon in the game, double accuracy perks, and damn near instant reload (feeding frenzy + 83 base reload). You have basically imagined a fast reload Y1 TLW with more range. Unbalanced.

  • There's only one range-esque perk, and that's the intrinsic perk. None of the other options add range, they actually decrease it. It's still unbalanced.

    Last Word: Bonus damage and stability. Extra precision damage when firing from the hip. Hip Fire: This weapon has bonus accuracy while firing from the hip.   • Again, you appear to be talking to me about something other than what I said. "Double accuracy perks on this fantasy gun." Check, I am right. More range than TLW. Check. Full auto rapid fire close quarters weapon that some argue is overpowered... Sounds like TLW. My comparison would appear to have a foundation. So, what the hell are you talking about?

    Well with such a limited amount of data to base the stats off of it was hard to come up with solid values that would keep it still competitive with the legendary range but with some of the stats dropping to the rare range. The population of sidearms is only 18 (yr2). Standard deviations are very small.

    It's a special weapon so the ammo nerf will have an effect on its usefulness. Plus sidearms are only really effective from shotgun range so stability perks won't be amazingly useful

  • It is a sidearm. Spawns with ammo. And sidearms have more range than shotguns, great way to shut down a shotgun rusher.

    Right but not much. Fusion rifles have more. So if you have to be right on top of someone to use it, having stability won't help because stability is more useful in long range situations, like scout rifles (vision of confluence?). It would be a more useful (or "unbalanced" in your words) to add range or damage perks over stability on a sidearm.
