So I sat down and did this to my beloved NLB, which needs some work so I'm NOT laughed at for using it in a raid because it shoots paperclips in there.
So without further ado, here is my buff of No Land Beyond:
For starters fix the impact visual bug. It does NOT have that much impact, rather like a Yasmin archetype. This should happen regardless of any buff to avoid confusion, as with Red Spectre as well.
--Next, make the following perk replacements--
-Mulligan with Unflinching
-Lightweight with Custom Optics
-Flared Magwell with Field Scout
--Buff stats in the following ways--
-Lower Rate of Fire bar to 8. (NOT an in game difference, just a visual stat one)
-Raise Impact to 38 (Res snipe in Crucible, do as much damage as a Spindle shot to bosses without upgrades to make up for slow RoF)
-Increase the reload stat by about 10
-Raise mag size to 8 (carry more ammo without field scout active and not have to reload as much)
Lastly, fix the beloved RoF glitch somehow. If they upped the damage on it, and it could res-snipe and do actual damage to PvE bosses, the glitch would not be necessary. The point of this gun from the start was that it was an old WWII bolt action rifle. The glitch ruins the aesthetics of the gun, and with buffing it would no longer be needed.
That does it for NLB in my eyes. I would have this gun for everything I need to do, raids, nightfall, trials, etc.
