Why we are using overpowered weapons!

Despite the many times that supposedly 'OP' primary weapons have been nerfed, weapon diversity never really seems to be a thing. I'd like to see some of the obviously weaker primary weapons buffed. There aren't too many clear advantages to using primary weapons over special ones due to the instant killing capability of special weapons, especially ones that kill at any range. Many of us will flock to the primary weapons with the absolute lowest TTK that are the easiest to handle in order to have the best chance of avoiding instant deaths. This is why many of us are using the same primary weapons all of the time. We don't want a shotgunner to run through our bullets and kill us, and we don't want to get headshotted by a sniper just before we put the last bullet into their head that was needed to kill them. We reduce the chances of this by using the so called 'OP' primary weapons. In a game where you are facing off against instant killing weapons, guns with a fast TTK are not 'OP', they are just viable and the most reasonable options. The more Bungie nerfs primary weapons, the more we are going to use special weapons and the more monotonous games will become. We want to feel more confident when we go into the Crucible without using the obvious choice of weapons all of the time. Instead of getting nerfed, viable primary weapons should set the standard for other primaries. A few users have shared their opinions on what weapons they would like to use but do not use because they believe that they will be at a clear disadvantage when using them against the more popular choices.
