I didn't read all the replies (most of the ones I did read were awesome), so forgive me if someone came up with something similar.
So this game type would be a six man elimination-style match, but ressing teammates is restricted at the start. No one starts with super energy, and can't generate it normally. PVE enemies spawn in an the start of a match, one of them is a strong major or an ultra.
Primary ammo only at the start of the match. Once the major is down, ressing is allowed and secondary ammo chests spawn (no longer a darkness zone or something in the games' fiction). Additionally, the team that killed the major has their super meters start to fill. The person who actually scored the kill gets full super. Any adds despawn once the majors go down.
I'm thinking it would require three rounds to win, because five would take too long. Light level would probably need to matter for the PVE elements. Not sure how to fit heavy into it, but it could show up on specific matches like in normal elimination.

Like the idea, but we can just leave heavy out. It would be imbalanced, and could result in an unfair win in a 3 round elimination. I will quote you in my post! I love these replies so much!
