Noooo disagree and here's why.
Almost everyone from year 1 had a felwinters, perfectly rolled, and a high impact sniper. With Yr 1 guns taken out of relevancy, they were generous enough to give us good starting rolls on a shotgun and a sniper. Now if you got that roll on party crasher, or binary dawn, you'd have one of the best in the game, far better than conspiracy theory. Conspiracy was a good starting point, everyone gets a half decent shotgun, if you want a nicer one grind it. Chaperone is the king of shotties, beats any shotgunner any day. Party crasher is a HEAVY hitter and without rangefinder I still use that more than conspiracy. Binary I got rangefinder and life support, and I like the feel of it so it gets used most of my shotties.

Honestly once you learn how to handle it, or once I learned how to handle it, i usually beat most shotgunners with it. If you hit heads, that distance kill is untouchable.
