No, but seriously. I went to America, say, 2 years ago. Only for a couple of weeks and I was in the south. It amazed me how blacks treated whites and vice versa. In my whole 23 years of living, I have never had a racist thing said to me until then. I wear snap backs, Jordan's and listen to rap music and was told by a bunch of white people that I needed to stop trying to be a "n-word" and try to act more my race.

The data on Implicit (unconscious) prejudice clearly, and strongly support that notion. That the vast majority of prejudices aren't a product of conscious choice....but are the result of CULTURAL and SOCIETAL programming that we get subjected to starting at ages when we are too young to seriously question what we are being taught and exposed to.
Which is why 86% of White Americans tested have demonstratable implicit racial biases towards blacks....and FIFTY percent of blacks do as well.
Having internalized the very same cultural programming.
