Racism does still hinder this country. Black racism is at an all time high.

Race riots from the 50's to the 70's? There was a riot in Newark nj back during the Vietnam war, and the 82nd airborne just landed in maguire Air Force base from being in Vietnam for a year. They took them directly into the city, by the next morning lots of people were dead. Barricades were out up by the police of my city which borders newark. No race relations may be poor now, but not some "all time high."
-
Saying all time high might be pushing it just a little, looking back at history pretty much everyone was a racist, they hated not only most everyone that they met that was different than them, but also hated people who were slightly different in their own country. There was a time when african people where split into tribes, so they hated not only the white europeans that came along but also hated all the other tribes. Perhaps it is at a high for very recent history, but most certainly not at an all time high.
-
Yeah, i moreso said all time high for exaggeration purposes, although it is happening a lot more than in previous years.

That i will not argue with, unfortunately racism creates racism, and humans are similar to elephants in the sense that we never forget (at least when it comes to being angry at someone). Due to our inability to forgive people for the past, we ignore the remnants of the still present evil that has yet to be stamped out and instead create a new and slightly different form of the same evil. Logically you would learn from what happened in the past and not make the same mistakes as those in the past, but humans are not logical, and so we are doomed to repeat ourselves.
-
That's just not true.
-
How so?
-
All races have equal rights, you can't argue that. An example of how racism isn't nearly as bad as it was is that 60 years ago a black person could get pulled over for driving in a nice car. Now someone might "say a mean thing".

Now someone might "say a mean thing".
What are you even talking about? Racism and equal rights arent exactly the same thing. And now with racism you have black people beating up white people and being defended because it is the agenda of black lives matter. That is a hate crime but a group praises them.
-
I see your point. Also, that does happen.
-
How so? If anything it's at an all time low.
-
Remember Detroit after that black kid attacked a cop that was following him, they rioted and attacked anyone who wasn't black for too long.
-
Remember that time a white kid walked into a black a church and killed a bunch of people just because they were black and no one rioted or anything? What a few people did in Boston doesn't speak for an entire race
-
You are completely right, I'm not saying blacks as a race are bad. I am saying the racism got out of hand, and hatred breeds hatred.
-
How so? If anything it's at an all time low.
I can show you case after case where a black person or group attacks someone of another race. They constantly use black lives matter as an excuse to do whatever the hell they want. The president has moments of silence for black deaths but when a white police officer is killed the president just doesnt care.

Edited by SSDxCrunchyWolf: 2/26/2016 12:01:14 AMIt has been much worse, the black Panthers have done some messed up things. Even so, it still has less of an effect.

What is "black racism" exactly?
-
What is "black racism" exactly?
It's pretty clear cut. When a black person says disparaging remarks about another race.
-
That's just called racism.
That's just called racism.
