This is a public warning that there is someone out there that is impersonating the Destiny Item Manager team and a Bungie employee.
I will post screenshots of their emails so you all will know what to look out for.
I will also be contacting the actual DIM support team about this issue.
If you have received an email from them, it is best to change your passwords to anything that is connected with that email to prevent anything from occurring.
Update: The actual DIM team has contacted me and confirmed that this was an impersonator.

1 ReplyEdited by Malfar: 2/26/2016 12:02:48 AMRamen Noodle, Thank you for the report. As a reminder, "Do not share your account details with anyone. Bungie employees will NEVER ask for this information." Any materials asking so should be reported to #help and ignored. And as a good measure I recommend checking out the help article, "Account Security: How to keep your Destiny Account safe". There are some simple steps there you can take to make sure your account doesn't get compromised. - Be Safe Out There Guardians.

5 RepliesEdited by Nishikienrai: 2/28/2016 12:59:51 AMUpdate 2: Since this thread has been posted, I and some other players have received an messages through XBL/PSN from users claiming to be from Bungie asking for log-in credentials. Please ignore these messages from these users and report them to Bungie and through your console's report system. Reporting a message on Xbox: 1. Head to the dashboard 2. Move left on your analog stick or on your d-pad to open the sidebar 3. Scroll down to the Messages section 4. Select the conversation with the impersonator 5. Select the message where they stated they were a "Bungie employee" 6. Hit "Report Message" 7. Select "Message" 8. Add a comment stating that the user is an impersonator 9. Select "Report" I don't know how to report messages on PSN so if you do, please PM me the instructions on how or just reply to this update with instructions.
