Do you remember?
Do you remember how much fun it was being a new character? Getting excited when you saw those little Green Engrams? Bring stoked the first time you got a piece of Blue gear? Your first Legendary item? Your first Exotic? How awesome was that? For all the things that I could and do bitch about, no other game has given me the same thrills as this one. Beating Crota, VoG, Oryx for the first time was truly Awesome. The only thing you really get to choose is your attitude. This game has its flaws, but damn has it been fun. To rekindle that feeling, try starting over. I got a new gamer tag, and started with an empty Vault, been enjoying the game ever sense.
It is great to see so many people that have enjoyed this game as much as I have. Was thinking about the first time I beat Crota, I said "why are we all throwing grenades at him again" Noob city!

2 RepliesDestiny is a game I'd start over on from scratch too. But it'll never be the same. I know exactly how to get every good legendary and exotic in the quickest fashion. The fastest way to level up. The best way to wreck hard in crucible, The easiest way to level a strike boss. The best armor was the Tengu Operant set for the warlock. I still have that armor. It's only acquirable through the use of blue engrams before you hit lvl 10. Bungie reused the texture of the metal armor pieces from that set to make the rosebright shader's texture. You know, The swirls. I feel proud to know it's origins. Good armor. Good shader.

Year one started a month or so before Crota, 1200 hours 200 raids of fun with clan members, oh yeah I remember it all :)

Yes it was fun but hard to comp for such a large flaw hope they learn before 2 is out but i know many including me will not wast our money to find out they didnt lissen then why would they start to care now?

1 ReplyOh, year 1 was so much fun. Many, many problems, but I loved it. VoG, Crota, Skolas, (Oryx is boring as hell, so no) all amazing. Too bad. This game was completely trashed when TTK came out. Don't pretend like it wasn't. You get to choose your attitude, but you don't get to choose if the game is good or not. Right now, it isn't. These fluff pieces aren't going to help the situation at all. Realism will. Tell Bungie what they'er doing wrong and they may be able to fix it. Keep silent, and live in the past, and they can't fix what you don't tell them. [spoiler]Everything that was good about Destiny died after year 1.[/spoiler]
