What's the Deal with Street Fighter V?

I'm hearing a lot of negativity from the SF community which is only slightly reflected in the reviews. Apparently the story is being patched in later, Player vs CPU is missing, eight player matches are missing, animation clipping is a problem, and the servers are a mess. I was considering purchasing it until now. I'm not sure what the state of the fighter community is on B.net, but if there are fighter fans on these forums, could you perhaps shed some light on what's happening with SFV?

Server issues and the missing story content seem to be the biggest generators of complaints, with a few other problems on the side too. Another big complaint seems that the solo portions of the game are barebones and don't hold a candle to the older games, Trials mode is underwhelming, missing story content getting patched later and the rest of the available modes for solo players are a dissapointment. Hopefully Capcom actually tries to do something right for once and fixes this game, i'm not a SF fan at all but i never had nothing against the series so i hope the fans get an answer from them. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/street-fighter-5-review-online-issues-undermine-capcoms-exemplary-fighter-1543878 http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/street-fighter-v/user-reviews Now user reviews are a mess because of console wars and other bullshit but it seems that the game is really barebones. It seems the dlc plan is really horrendous too because of the huge lack of content at launch, apparently Capcom are aiming for a 5 year plan with microtransactions and more. Performace-wise the game has some bugs and glitches roaming around too.
