Depends on what you mean by "stronger". On the one hand, women tend to display a higher capacity for empathy and developing social bonds. On the other, they have higher rates of depression and are more likely to suffer from a heart attack due to an emotionally traumatic event. In any case, the differences between individuals varies more greatly than the differences between male/female.

  • Men are more likely to commit suicide, yes, but women are more likely to develop depression. Part of the reason male suicide is more prevalent is that males are typically more impulsive and less likely to seek help.
