oh my god. you mean an exotic item gives an exotic perk? holy shit. nerf EVERYHTING.
I mean a hunter can enjoy all the advantages of keen scout AND shade step with an exotic helm.
and a skilled Peregrine Greaves titan can still punk a Ramlock in most situations.
goddamn will you children ever stop calling for nerfs?

It's the fact that all they have to do is snipe you from a fvcking gorillian (general Sam reference) miles away with their melee, and BOOM invincibility shield!
-
No. Next question?
-
Or with out the helm just put on a legendary sniper and they have keen scout. Hunters can pick all 3 perks from the last tree while using that sniper. Lol

Im not one of those people, but if the hunters get mad about surviving a GG shot as sunbreaker (Yeah the armor was a bit op) then they should be mad about that. I just figured out on the forums pretty much every class hates each other constantly calling for nerfs on each other, and Im feeding the fire for some reason. Plus, with flame shield, a ramlock using a solar armor increased chest with radiance would survive two GG bullets. This actually kind of deserves a slight nerf. There is a difference between bad nerfs and good nerfs.

totally disagree. if you build a ramlock that way, and your playstyle is to run head first into two GG shots.... good for you. BUT - that *IS* the super. sure, he can toss a few grenades. but if a stormcaller or voidwalker had that same survivability, then I would agree it might need balanced. but they don't. a RamLock with that build has sacrificed the lethality of a nova bomb or stormtrance and basically traded an OFFENSIVE super for a DEFENSIVE one. you can't just think about what they CAN do (or gain) - but they CAN'T do (or lose) the SunBreakers had a highly lethal, and highly MOBILE super that made them a tank. No sunsinger has EVER killed people as quickly with their few extra grenades as much as Sunbreakers were there for awhile. For a bit the Sunbreakers were OFFENSIVE and DEFENSIVE- and very strong in both, that was an unfair advantage. Radiant Sunsingers are tanks, regardless if The Ram is involved or not. But their lethality is only increased a little bit.

Agreed
-
Good reasoning, I believe you. But the sunsingers can use a fusion grenades or two firebolts to kill someone.
-
agreed, but two points to that: 1) it's not nearly as mobile, nor has the range, tracking, or the decisive OHK that the old Sunbreakers had. (yes, Fusion's are a OHK, but have no tracking, much less range, and you have to hit your target, no splash damage kills, and firebolts do require the two kit kill, and the cooldown is still enough even Radiant not gaurauntee anything.) 2) to tie it back to your original post - to make a Sunsinger's super truly Offensive.... the Heart of Praxic fire is a much better choice, then they really can spam grenades. When the Ram is equipped, your becoming more tank-ish, but the cooldown on the grenades is still enough to limit their offensive use. (HoPF also offers spamming of Melee's, same with Claws, just depends on the build)
