I feel Void Bow super shouldn't do damage or kill anything from the impact, it should be from weapons. It should be a support super, much like Bubble. In exchange, it would activate instantly.
Conversely, if you want it to still do damage, make it so anyone that would be considered within the Bubbles radius when activated dies from a 'void explosion'. I don't run Bubble in PvP, but that seems fair to me.
Edit: Since people don't understand or infer what part of the void bow super actually kills I'll spell it out: The measly 2 damage from getting locked in by the tether line is fine, The initial impact from the super use shouldn't kill you. People don't seem to be able to infer or think for themselves/logically anymore.
Edit 2: Edited title because people can't infer from reading.
Edit 3: Based on feedback, Hunters have to be able to kill everything and hate being support. Support classes aren't about killing, people. They are about buffs and benefiting the party.
Final Edit: Done replying to people who aren't thinking about things logically and just verbally attacking. If you want to have a logical discussion, I'll respond, but think things out before you say anything. Insults will start getting reported and blocked.

11 RepliesThis poll needs more options as it currently biased towards what you want with no room for opposition.
-
You need a third option: Yes (without the addition for Defender). The bubble is truly a protective dome that can give added benefits to guardians, or harm enemy guardians (blind them) who step inside. In terms of instant damage to whomever it touches, if you have the helm of Saint-14, the bubble WILL instantly blind enemies it touches, which leaves them open to whatever attack you want. (Imobius) Getting shot by a bow should do damage. Getting shot by a bow of super energy should definitely kill the target IF it hits directly. Not by "splash damage" from a near miss. Thus, it would require skill to actually kill the target, but it still has the support ability of tether, etc, for surrounding/nearby enemies. If using quiver, each shot should do damage on a direct hit, but not kill. Although (just thought of this), it would be pretty cool if the bubble pushed enemies back (potentially at high velocity) sending them flying outward from the Defender. That could prove interesting. Especially in a small room.
Splat! ;)
Still waiting for that tether on my nova bomb...
-
No because it's a support class just like defender and sunsinger Deal with it
-
Why did you put ward of dawn in there -.-
-
Yes it should. Especially since it's a one shot and can't take out a whole group of people like nova bomb for example. I don't think there should be any teacher with quiver though because they can use it up to 3 times and unlike golden gun they get 2x armor when shooting it.

Nice bait poll loser

Biased pole shut up

1 ReplyBow should def kill, good idea with bubble that should kill too wouldnt be op cuz radius is small it would be a mini fist of havoc
-
3 RepliesYou are a child.. I have tried discussing this with you but you are unwilling to hear or consider anything other than your own opinion Problems with your argument 1. Support is a community classification. Each class can be played as either defensive or offensive 2. A bow is a weapon a shield is not. A shield is paired with a weapon. 3. Defender granades do exactly what you want the bow to do. You talk of being fair. How is a super having the same effect as a granade ability fair? I won't reply any further you aren't worth any more of my time. This is also for those that want to have a "discussion" with op.
-
Ok now you think logically if you get shot by a bow will it hurt?

4 RepliesEdited by Acehunter25: 2/10/2016 6:47:33 PMWard of dawn super gives you a pretty impenetrable bubble with a buff that lasts a pretty long time especially with the right skill tree and exotic armor A sticky instant kill grenade A melee that gives you an overshield And a grenade(two if you use the exotic armor Armamentarium or whatever it's called) that shuts down supers that you get back every 30 or so seconds Nightstalker has no grenade that kills on impact/stick No grenade that shuts down super A super that kills(only if you don't miss) and only shuts down a super from a very short distance with a delayed effect with it lasting for a short time(a very short time especially if you have quiver equipped) If you want to compare support classes, defender class way out performs in every area and is a way better support class

1 ReplySorry mate but I feel that they are fine the way they are. It would be cool if the bubble could knock back opponents when first activated, but not kill them. Shadowshot is an aggressive tactical super while the bubble is a passive/defensive tactical super.
-
2 RepliesYou know how easy it is to dodge a bow? Lol obviously you don't since you're here bitching about the subclass.
-
4 RepliesVoid bows are fine and if ward of dawn killed people like that why run fist of havoc?
-
Bias poll is bias
-
2 RepliesI think it should kill and if a Titan traps or pops a bubble and you are inside at the time it comes down it should kill you
-
4 RepliesGet shot in the face by a 100 lbs bow and tell me if it does damage.
-
4 RepliesSupport classes shouldn't be able to kill? Then how do you explain the sunsinger?
-
Arrows kill. The end.
-
Its an arrow, it should kill. However, I also think it would be cool if the bubble kills too. Maybe only with a specific perk ability active. I mean it is a "bubble" right...
Psa: bubbles kill :P
-
Fallacy!
-
These are some shitty poll options
-
9 RepliesSo a space arrow shouldn't kill you? But a bubble, should kill you if you are within its range of activation? POTATO ALERT! WOOOOOOOP! POTATO ALERT! WOOOOOOOP! POTATO ALERT! WOOOOOOOP! POTATO ALERT! WOOOOOOOP!
-
2 RepliesEdited by AYRES: 2/10/2016 4:27:58 PMBad poll is bad. Yes it should kill on impact but ward of dawn should not.
-
3 RepliesThis change will nerf it in PvE. We have seen how Bungie works. We'll hit a Captain and he'll take no damage from the impact, just like in PvP. It's a super, it hits you, you die. Dodge better?
