Around 10:00 AM PST on Tuesday February 9th, Destiny players may be asked to login again upon returning to orbit to download a patch.
We’re aware that some consoles attempt to verify all content (18+ gigs) of previously installed patches to ensure there are no issues with previously downloaded content. [b]Do not cancel out of this verification, or you will be required to re-download all previous updates[/b].

2 RepliesXBOX ONE: Ever since 2.1.1 update, I have been lagging more than ever. On top of that, I incessantly receive the "canary" error and I keep getting kicked from Destiny. Multiplayer is now worse due to your new matchmaking engine and I cannot play PvP anymore. Worse yet - Destiny is causing thousands of networking errors across my gateway which in turn is filling up the gateway log files and forcing my gateway to shut down and make me restart it about every 5 mins or so. THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM because it did not happen prior to your launch of 2.1.1. My ISP was just here for over an hour trying to figure it out and we have pinpointed it to Destiny. Any other online game I play is fine and I do not receive networking errors across my gateway. Same thing happens with my Xbox 360 console and Destiny. Good job Bungie, you have just lost another paying customer. Here I come Division!

Ok last night me and my friend were playing crimson it kicked him out of fireteam did a verify content then did update again then froze xbox one. he had to reboot then when he logged back in it made him uninstall all and redownload all.

Crimson Days another FAILURE! I played all my 3 characters got shit rewards for bounties and never a fkn ghost shell! WTF is going on with bungie drops!!!! I mean OK servers are packed and it took forever for the update to download. Login was slow. Once in it is all smooth and even the drop from the matches are moderately ok. But, where is my quest? I waited almost a month for it!!!!

Aparently my download was ok, but now whenever i try to log in it just sits there "loading", what is going on??

1 ReplySo I looked this up due to the download being stuck at 0 on my PS4 and read through some comments briefly, then looked back up (after a reset) and it was done. Patience helps too people, plus it's not as easy to satisfy a whole bunch of people with differing circumstances.

I have 31.55 GB free according to the storage management and have had to delete another game so I can download a update that's less than 1GB? Get your shit together Bungie, I love the game but it's becoming an inconvenience to play

Why did you change the wording on the bounties? Yesterday it said something along the lines of daily bounties not complete will override the next days? Now it's weekly?

everytime i try to update it either crashes or freezes my xbox or i get error expansion content appears to be damaged or missing. ive done everything even formatted harddrive still nothing please help!

Is there a reason why the ps4 doesnt recognize previously download content. First time this has happened me to download 18gb, is it a destiny matter? or ps4 matter? Im not overly concern is going to take 100 minutes to download but usually it just adds on to the previous patch that was added.

I appeal to the authorities Bungie, Destiny I've finished you. you give wrong decisions, you stupid idiot interests, motor racing, Halloween, Valentine's Day event that will bring you to your doom. Whether your energy dealing with this kind of nonsense, you should have routing logic error in the game. It does not properly fall Raider correct item and weapons, clothes and weapons are sold like helen 280, maximum 310 exotic items, items that some players have purposely not fall. Old arena, raid and strike are to be updated according to the current level of new systems and should be removed with the nonsense I have mentioned above and your company you brought the end of the game. Shame on you.

So this dumb 18 gig download is -blam!-ed my mates have this problem it said it was an 18 g update but did the update in an hour and he has bad internet so how big is the crimson day update ?

1 ReplyI was able to successfully download the update, but now am running into problems. After the start screen, by Xbox One will not get past the "connecting" loading screen that should take me to select my character. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Destiny, reset my Xbox One, and reset my router. Nothing has worked so far. Please advise.

Wow, you've got to be joking... right? This makes the third time that my file is found corrupted on my PS4 since the release of the Taking King dlc. How in the Hell can this be? This is the only game that I play on my PS4, I don't do anything else but play this game on my system. How is it that my system is getting messed up with corrupted files? Maybe its your server's that are corrupted and not my PS4....

I downloaded the update but now its telling me I need to purchase the game. I have all the updates and have owned the game since November 2014. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but now it says I have the trial. I can see my character saves but i only have access to trial material. How do i get the game without paying for it again?
