Sitting on a bench while your team wins a competition and then getting a prize for it is the same as getting a participation trophy. Also in majority of games, real money transactions result in a permanent ban on your account. Now however people tend to go around that by "asking" for donations in exchange for their services. This is just as corrupt as paying someone a USD amount for an in game item, and it should not be accepted, let alone applauded.

  • Here's where your entire argument goes off the rails...why do you give a shit what other people do? It's not cheating. It's not cheesing. I don't care if someone wants to buy their way to the Lighthouse. I think it's stupid and a waste of money, but from a gamer standpoint I just don't care. Even if I came across that guy and his sherpas in ToO and I lost. Boo -blam!-ing hoo. Well, better toughen up and try again. Or I can quit. Either way, mind your own business. People who complain about this stupid bullshit sound like whiny children who aren't getting what other people have. They sound like their desires aren't being met and they're going to let everyone know how unhappy they are. I simply do not care how other people complete content that they paid for, short of cheating.
