I disagree with you completely. I help a lot of people on destiny. I'm currently helping 2 players who had only ever done VOG once. I picked em up at 280 light and we currently have them up to 310 light by helping them threw raid each week. I am all for helping others but when I help these guys they are improving and learning mechanics at same time increasing there experience and skill as we go. Getting carried in pvp teaches the player getting carried nothing. Well it teaches them to sit on there Arse and do nothing and get max rewards. If you not good enough to get to lighthouse with your buds you don't deserve to be there. I struggle to get to the lighthouse bcos I play with my bro and Cous and we are decent players but when you have to contend with lag and really good pvp players it's a struggle. But at least we earned the right to be there. People who get carried have no shame really.
You assume people you carried through VoG and other raids are getting better based on your own observations. You then make a baseless claim that people who get carried in PvP aren't getting better and they just "sit on THEIR arse and do nothing."
I'm sorry, but nothing you said negates anything I said. Two sherpas carrying a weak player were likely going to beat their competition anyway. If nothing else, it shows the skill level of players who can create their own handicap and still win.
Do not start whining about "earning" your rewards this game. It comes off as petty and childish. You have no more "right" to lighthouse rewards than people getting carried. People who cry about the actions of other players "have no shame really," especially if no one is cheating or cheesing.
