That would be hilarious. An emblem with everest in it or something.
I think my only concern world be keeping it tasteful. Sherpa after all is an ethnic group too.
I wonder how they feel about the use of their name for Destiny runs?

Wait what Sherpa is an ethnic group?!?! Oh -blam!- man I didn't know that ... :/ I feel bad now can we call them destiny gurus or guiding lights??...
-
Sarcasm or serious?
-
No generally serious!! Sorry if it sounded sarcastic there's no verbal translation. On here.. But seriously I had no idea
-
I wasn't sure so I thought it safer to ask. They're an ethnic group from Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. Many of the guides who have helped climbers up to the summit of Mount Everest were Sherpas, hence the usage in Destiny as a "helpful guide through something difficult." Google "sherpa", should fill in the blanks.

Hmm I can see where it would be relatable I think they'd feel belittled because of the actual triumphs and hardships they endure only to be compared to 9 wins on a video game

Fair enough. I'm certainly not the PC police. We should just be thoughtful. Maybe a variation on the Nepal icon for Bungie's fundraising campaign would be a happy medium, since they did a fund raising work for Nepal after the earthquake. It is one thing Bungie definitely does well. Hell, I have a t-shirt from the Halo 2 days which is from their Katerina fund raiser. It has a cartoon master chief kicking a flood and reads, front: "fight the flood"; back:"halo fans for hurricane relief 2005" So it's a confluence of related companies and peoples.

But I got these sway ass oakleys... South Park reference to PC lol and I agree
