Hard resetting the Xbox, Quitting the game after receiving the error, ejecting the disc from the console loading another game an then trying to load Destiny, and now I'm attempting to do a Cache Clear on my xbox. what else is there to try?
-
Ok clearing the cache is the first thing I was going to suggest trying. Let me know if that resolves your issue.
-
what else can i do? please help
-
Ok when you launched the game after clearing your console cache what happened? Also what console are you on?
-
I'm on Xbox One, and it went back to a black screen that says "oops, something bad happened. Please wait a moment..." and then after about a minute, it popped up with another message saying, "Thanks for your patience! Feel free to reboot your console and continue playing. Visit http://www.bungie.net for more information." Those are the messages i get every time i try something. i don't know what else i need to do. Ive basically tried everything. Its making me very angry quite frankly. Any other suggestions? ill basically try anything at this point.
-
Ok try these steps in order and hopefully it will fix your issue. I know you've tried parts of these steps already. 1) clear the console's cache. 2) delete destiny the game and all related destiny downloads (including all dlcs) 3) clear the console's cache again. 4) reinstall destiny the game first then all other destiny dlcs.
-
after i install Destiny the game first, should i then install all destiny dlc immediately or should i run the game without the dlc's?
-
Try launching the game and see what happens.

It didn't work I booted up the game after it had finished updating and it still didn't work. I don't know what else I can do at this point. Please help me. I really want to continue playing destiny :(
-
Ok let's try this. Go to Settings Go to Power & startup Press Turn Xbox off Once the console is completely off, unplug the power cord from the back of the console and let sit for ~5 minutes Power the console on and re-launch Destiny

Venom? Ya there? I need more suggestions
-
Are all items installed on the same storage device?
-
Edited by SSB117: 2/8/2016 2:45:44 AMYes they are all stored on my external hard drive. It's a Xbox brand external hard drive though so I don't think that's the problem. I think the last thing I have left to try is to factory reset the Xbox :(. Is there anything else you could suggest that I try?
-
Can you move them to your internal hard drive?
-
I can, I think... I'll let you know
-
hello? anymore suggestions?
-
any more suggestions?

-
Should I install the rest of the dlc before I hard reset it
-

-
