Bungie wants as much playtime for as little content as possible, given that their model is perfect.

Edited by Feircy: 2/1/2016 3:14:24 AMI understand that and I agree it works from a profitability standpoint, doesn't mean it's not an awful system that promotes player fatigue and turnover. Nobody is arguing that destiny is not a profitable or successful game, it's just ,in my own opinion, *not* a satisfying experience. The games I remember as great are the ones that are constantly supported and kept me and other players coming back despite the time that passed, the way their system is now, many people remember destiny with dissapointment. I guess I'm trying to preach quality over profitability, but it doesn't really matter. I dont expect to change anyone's mind, it's a business after all. Kinda like going to a really successful chain restaurant, and not getting anything near as good as you would going local. The quality tends to drop as you focus more and more on the bottom line.

Oh I 100% agree with you, just from Bungie's standpoint (or Activision's idk) they're going with this shitty model.
