Bungie, Your Focus is Off

I wish I could come on here and just "say it like it is", but honestly at this point, it's just better to get your attention in the correct manner. You've always asked us to be constructive about issues, and we have been and yet you still ignore a good 90% of the posts on these boards. It's in my personal opinion that you have been seriously neglecting your casual and cooperative players in favor of a misguided competitive aspect of your game. I'm not going to use terminology like "We all think", or "Everyone believe that", I know that's not true, however the forums have been "on fire" for the past two months or so due to nothing but continual updates and changes to the game that have been primarily focused on the game's PvP. Now, I'm not saying that updating PvP is a bad thing, I'm just saying that you really need to stop forgetting that a large majority of your playerbase exists outside of PvP, and they're starting to leave. I took two surveys back when TTK launched some months ago. The first survey I took mid-October on a Tuesday, the second mid-November on a Friday. I asked three simple questions, What do you prefer to play (PvE/PvP), Do you play PvP (Yes, A Little, No), and Where would you like the game's updates (PvE/PvP). Now, I was originally going to hold these results and just send it to you in a document (Still going to), but after watching two updates after the "long break" also hold my interest to a zero, it's time I share these results, and you should know (and be aware), it's highly representative of what the forum polls have been showing every time one of these pops up. * 81% of the surveyed participants identified themselves as a primarily PvE player. * Of the 81%, 77.78% of the respondents say they do not play PvP. * 91% of the respondents put their desired priority in PvE updates. Now, I know that you have your own tools and mechanisms to collect information in the game, and I'm not discrediting any of these tools, but when I see numbers like this pop up, I just can't help but think that your studio's focus on Destiny has been completely off for the past few months. I really wish that you would at least give some acknowledgement to your casual players in your weekly updates, remember it's been since September of last year since we've heard of any news about "New PvE Content". My own personal belief is that there should be some more focus on what players want to see in Destiny brought to the table, there's a huge amount of items in the community wish list that have been sitting there for a long time, not to mention the hundreds of other great ideas sitting on the forums and other outlets. I suppose what I'm getting to is that while updates for the game are good, updates that only benefit one side of the game (And especially the minority of it) really aren't helping with the situation here.

 • These sentiments are shared by a lot of my clan members, many who have already left destiny. And wont be coming back. For a social game, it's becoming more anti social with every passing month.
