1st IB game, minutes after it went live, played solo before hooking up with the clan ended in under 3 minutes...
Ignited the rift 3 times in a row with an 8.0 KD... Enemy team score was 2500 ish.
My individual score was 7500 ish...
Got a perfect runner medal, and all of the Iron Gauntlet requirements other than "reach rank 4" cleared in one match....
Pretty good way to start IB for me... But I can only imagine how it would have felt for someone on the receiving end, especially if this was their first match AND they were not happy about Rift being the game...
Like I said several times. I for one am stoked about rift IB but still thing it wasn't a good idea as many casual players will just get sick of the one-sidedness real quick...

I'm not quite sure what your point was. Yes, a good player can make all the difference in a simple match, but not when they're up against a 4-6 piece fireteam (unless they're terrible players) with a bunch of pugs. They just lack the coordination for this game type. That's the issue.

Edited by ouate2phoque76: 1/26/2016 9:53:23 PMThat's exactly the point.... It all comes down to luck. A team comprised of 1 or 2 good runners + 4 decent players who might not be runners but have enough experience with rift will systematically crush a team with 1 or 2 good runners but 4 noobs that never played rift / don't understand the timing and roles. With or without communication... So it's 100% pure dumb matchmaking luck unless you are in a fireteam of at least 4

Which is the issue with rift being the play mode. In clash/ control, 2 strong players can carry a team which is a far better situation for those two, not to mention those lucky enough to be carried
