Players have been reporting issues in the Crucible. We are currently investigating the following.
• Floating corpses
• Randomly dying after short drop
• Melee attack connects but doesn’t proc Flame Shield, Energy Drain etc. Scorch warlock melee ability will sometimes actually hurt the player using it instead of the enemy
• The enemy that just killed you, gets killed, but his health bar still shows health
• Arc Blade attacks not registering
• Hammer of Sol hammers exploding too early
• Melee, shoulder charge, golden gun and ArcBlade hit detection are all off sync. (I.e melee hit or ArcBlade swing makes contact with target but does not produce damage).
• Tether, most notably, is not reliably suppressing super usage when an enemy player is caught in it's AOE.

6 RepliesBungie, I know you probably won't read this and even if you do then you probably don't care, but I still feel like this needs to be said. First there was the mistake on the posting of incorrect weapon patch values. This in itself could be a common mistake and be forgiven because you owned up to it. However, now we have this. We complain about matchmaking, you say it is due to the lower number of people in matchmaking due to the presence of SRL. SRL ends, matchmaking is just as bad if not worse. You say that you didn't change anything. Now you come out and say that you changed matchmaking to be more skill dependent than connection based to create a more competitive crucible environment. More competitive crucible? Yes please. I love that idea, but there is one glaring error. When you make it so that you match against guardians that are at similar skill levels with seemingly no preference to connection you introduce latency. Latency that literally makes it nearly impossible to play at the level that the stats say you are. I'm not a top tier PVP player, but I would at least like the chance to compete against people of my own caliber with out randomly dying or without running up against an immortal opponent. An idea is to maybe make the classic playlists purely skill based matchmaking and leave the current crucible connection based. That gives the option for the people that want to be sweaty to go be sweaty and still provide a fun environment with less latency in other aspects. Even with that rant, I want to say that I enjoy this game. Heck, I just restarted a character in order to help me keep content fresh. What I ask and what I believe the community asks is for you to not only say you will include us in the talks about changing the game, but to also issue an apology for having mislead us. Not just say whoops you caught us we have been tinkering. You need to say that you are sorry for tinkering and not informing us. We are a pretty understanding community. Give us a chance already.
