This is way late but...
NOT THAT POWERFUL??? You do understand that he was completely immune to all guardian powers and weapons correct? Only the strongest weapons gave him any pause The only way to hurt him was with the mightiest knight's swords. (Which were whetted with however many millennia of slaughter)
This was AFTER his tribute chain was crippled.
We got DAMN lucky.
Well he was basically a knight, a god-knight, but still. He's not going to be the most gifted when it comes to Hive magic. Partitioning one's soul is still impressive though, plus he can cut through space itself like any other Hive god. His sword, the one we destroyed, was so powerful that it shattered much of the moon's surface. Despite being a knight, he can still do pew pew pew shots. He's far from the greatest, but he certainly is powerful, especially he killed thousands of guardians with just a piece of his soul. That's more guardians than I've ever seen.
Yes. They faced the shadow form. But i would of through of him as being more powerful than he is now. He was a big part of feeding oryx's worm him and his sisters. The death singers. But crota had more than those two sisters. He had two other sisters. And siblings. His siblings were weak and so oryx took them.
Crota must of killed billions. To keep oryx's worm happy. But at the end crota wasn't that powerful. Crota crushed those guardains becuause they knew nothing. If they knew how to kill him. He wouldn't exist.
