Destiny literally sucks now.

Everything that has been done since launch other than the taken king I have loved. Destiny is a beautiful game that combines player effort in a non competitive fashion, and I really think that the gaming community needed that, no one wants balls to the walls competition 24/7. We needed what destiny used to be; a nice chill game we could sit down and play with our buds that didn't really require too damn much effort. A challenge is acceptable, don't get me wrong, and I love a good day long raid, and the competitiveness of trails and iron banner. But when standard crucible play lists are affected by skill based match making, that is when it becomes way too much. Or when the entire first year we spent gathering all of these legendaries and exotics *gjallarhorn cough cough* just to have them become completely obsolete. I spent almost 70 days in game to collect all year one exotics and expand my legendary arsenal. And I suppose Bungie thinks it's a great idea to crap on that? I have so many friends that I have played with since the beta that are also feeling conflicted about what was once their favorite game. They too feel the pain of having 50+ committed days in game during year 1 being flushed down the toilet. If you ask me, that is one of the largest reasons Destiny has lost popularity. You can't just make a game that relies on in game progression or acquiring items and then expect to gain popularity when you take that progression away. I remember getting my first gjallarhorn before Xur sold it the second time. I was so excited I called all my buddies and bragged about it and threw it in their faces. I remember what it felt like when I conquered the thorn bounty the first time. I remember when it felt awesome to have to take Crota down in 3-4 swords instead of one, but still do it flawlessly. I remember when defeating skolas with an arc burn would take countless tries, but the feeling after when you got yourself a solar six dreg Pride topped it all. Or rising to the top in trials to get a legendary primary with elemental damage that was useful for more than just PvP. (Messenger) (Scholar) (Jewl) (Summoner) When you could obliterate phalanx with a Thorn through their shields. When everything that I worked for actually paid off. It doesn't seem like that anymore. Nightfalls especially, that haven't given me anything worth keeping for several months now. Bungie. I am a very devoted player. I enjoyed your past content so very much, it literally helped take depression from my life during a time that wasn't so great, when I needed a break from reality. I want nothing more than for this game to succeed and become known as one of the greatest games of all time. But I can't tell you this seriously enough that on the trajectory that this game is heading, it will gradually crap out of existence. Listen to the voice of the players, let them tell you what they want. I can tell you that a nice Valentine's Day gift from bungie to the players is not a timed even that we have to spend silver to progress in. Try something like giving us our gjallarhorns back. Or upgrading all past raid weapons to year 2. Make your old material playable again... Start giving recognition to the veterans of destiny that have played since the beta like I have, that have thousands of hours in the game. Don't take away what they have worked for. Encompass the entirety of the destiny content, don't do away with what made the game great in the first place. I'd love to hear anyone else's input, especially those that are affiliated with Bungie. Thanks for reading.
